The JBL SRX815 is a multifunctional PA speaker that can be used as both a front system and stage monitor. Typical users are PA rental companies, professional bands or fixed installations with high level requirements. As a front PA system, the SRX815 offers a balanced, harmonic frequency response that is also suitable for full-range reproduction. For strong bass emphasis, the JBL SRX818S or JBL SRX828S subwoofer is a suitable complement.The JBL SRX815 is equipped with the new JBL 2275H 15" woofer, which has a very powerful and precise drive due to its dual voice coil. The equally powerful 2432H tweeter driver with 3" voice coil and 90° x 50° horn impresses with clear highs and a wide frequency range. This is especially important for the assertive reproduction as a stage monitor.Depending on the application, the operating mode can be configured from 'passive' to 'bi-amp'. The connection is made via one of the two NL4 connectors, which are also configurable in the assignment from 1+/- to 2+/-. This allows full utilization of 4pin Speakon cables as well as easy, mix-up free system cabling. The JBL SRX815 can be placed on a stand as well as flown. For this purpose, the speaker has 12 M10 mounting points. The cabinet is made of 18mm multiplex and is covered with JBL's DuraFlex paint.Presets for different DSPs and power amplifiers such as Crown XTi, I-Tech HD or dbx DriveRack 360 are available via the Audio Architect software.
The JBL SRX 815 is also available as an active loudspeaker under the model name JBL SRX815P (powered) with an integrated DSP and amp module.
